I received my double-major in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Music Education, from the University of Nebraska. I received my masters degree in Education from Baker University. The 2022-2023 school year will be my 40th year in education, most of which has been with preschool or kindergarten.  I have done breakout sessions for several national and international education conventions, speaking about the importance of Family Engagement with the classroom teacher.  I have written a book!!  It is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Nobel, and Apple;  "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work." I am a trauma-responsive teacher.
